HELP US SHAPE CARNOUSTIE'S FUTURE

We have been working closely with Angus Council to take forward our vision

and now want your input as to how we can achieve success together.

WE WANT TO SECURE OUR FUTURE AS A WORLD LEADING, COMMUNITY BASED, LEISURE AND TOURISM DESTINATION

INVESTING IN CARNOUSTIE'S FUTURE

We have worked hard to secure the private sector investment to develop a world-leading tourism destination at Carnoustie to match the quality of our golf courses, delivering transformational facilities for the region.

SECURING THE RETURN OF THE OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP

Realising our vision will unlock the investment necessary to make the improvements required and will help pave the way for the return of The Open Championship to Carnoustie.

DELIVERING WHAT CARNOUSTIE DESERVES

There is more to Carnoustie than just golf. We have an over-riding responsibility to secure a sustainable and long-term future, not just for this great organisation but to the very people who choose to live, work and invest here.

THE OPPORTUNITY BEFORE US IS VAST

I’ve had the privilege of working for this great organisation for almost 7 years and see every day the sheer joy that simply being in and around this famous links brings local golfers and visitors alike.

The successful development of an iconic hotel and spa will represent an investment of up to £100 million and pave the way for the return of The Open Championship in a multi-event agreement that will generate £1 billion of economic benefit, including the creation of new jobs, for the wider Angus region.

The scale of the opportunity before us is vast and it is vital we take steps to secure a prosperous future for us all. I’m pleased that we have secured the investment required to deliver this ambitious project and this prospectus highlights the approach we are taking, underpinned by a clear commitment to our Season Ticket Holders and citizens.

Michael Wells, Chief Executive, Carnoustie Golf Links
